I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University in 1995 and later completed my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) at George Fox University. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health centers, hospital settings, university counseling, group practices, and have also trained graduate-level therapists. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and couples as they navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, major life decisions, and other personal struggles. My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a warm, genuine, and supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I use an integrative approach that may include psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and exploration of past experiences and relationships. My goal is to understand your unique needs and help you develop practical strategies, greater self-awareness, and meaningful growth as you move forward.
